Your Guide

Hannah Rapp is an LMHC and outdoor climbing guide. Combining counseling and climbing is an ultimate dream, to bring the office into the elements. She is passionate about the healing powers of climbing and nature as resources to enhance our relationships; to ourselves, each other and the earth.

When we are immersed in nature, our body and emotions are readily available for us to access our truth and work through what arises.

Hannah started climbing in iconic Red River gorge KY, known for its world renowned crags, natural stone bridges and fall leaves. It is through her own rock climbing experiences with others that she has found a deepening of her relationships and self. She is overjoyed to share this enriching medicine with you!

LIABILITY, RISK AND DANGER

Climbing is dangerous.

It is universally accepted that climbing is a dangerous activity and poses a risk of bodily harm, injury, permanent disability or death to those choosing to participate in the sport.

As a willing participant in climbing activities, you choose to accept this risk, assume the liability and accept all consequences related to your climbing pursuits. It is a given that during climbing activities, your personal safety cannot be delegated to another person and you are responsible for keeping yourself safe and making decisions that protect your safety and well-being.

By participating in events organized by Wildernessence LLC/Hannah Rapp, you are making the decision to accept the implicit danger and risk involved in our climbing related activities. We work to promote good climbing practices and aim to minimize the risk associated with our activities; however, we can never eliminate the inherent risk that comes with climbing.

All Climbers must sign a Release of Liability Waiver PRIOR to participating in every climbing session. Your Guide, Hannah will have a paper version of the Waiver and it should be signed when arriving at an outing.

What can you expect when you book a trip?

  • Your payment will need to be completed prior to your trip commencing
  • You will receive an email confirming details of you trip including- time, location, guide schedule, required forms, and things to bring.
  • You will need to complete and either submit digitally or bring in hard copy the Waiver and Med Form.

You must complete BOTH forms for each participant!

If conditions or circumstances preclude running a scheduled program we reserve the right to make the decision as to whether the program will be canceled, rescheduled, or an alternative provided. In the rare circumstance where we need to cancel a program you can reschedule without a fee or receive a refund on your deposit.
