“"Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild precious life?"”
Have you recently experienced a major shift in your life?
Are you longing for deeper meaning and purpose?
Is your soul calling for nourishment, belonging and inspiration?
Do you desire to deepen your connection to body, earth and/or spirit?
If you have found yourself here and any of these questions speak to you, it may be your Souls calling to embark on a Soul Wilderness Fast. This rite of passage ceremony - is a women's immersion into her Wild Body, Soul and Earth. As a part of the ceremony there is a multi-day fast where each woman sits alone in the wilderness with no food and minimal shelter (2-4 days solo depending on the Immersion). This intimate ceremony marks a time of profound transition in ones life and is an ancient and powerful way to release heavy energies, connect to the earth and our bodies, embody belonging, return to wholeness, tend to our humanness, embrace our gifts and begin to manifest our deepest truths.
Our Souls Calling to shed parts of who we were and be reborn!
We are bombarded on any given day and lifetime with hundreds of distractions, manipulations, expectations, responsibilities, persuasions and stimulating experiences that overload our systems and veer us away from our true nature and the natural cycles of our body and purpose. Embarking on a Soul Wilderness Fast is an initiation, opportunity and path to empty ones Self in order to feel belonging and deepen your relationship to body, earth and prayer.
While this wilderness fast ceremony holds and is inspired by aspects of various indigenous traditions and cultures, it is not the same as what you may know of as a Vision Quest or Hanbleceya. If you are seeking this kind of ceremony, it is recommended that you search elsewhere to honor these traditional ways. The Soul Wilderness Fast is created as a bridge between these ancient ceremonial rites and the modern world, to weave a path that is palpable for a wide range of women, their body's, backgrounds and lifestyles.
Soul Wilderness Fast: A Women's Rite of Passage
This intimate group of women will gather in the magical lands of Abiquiu, New Mexico near the Chama River for a 6 day Wilderness Immersion and Fasting Ceremony. Fasters will go alone into the wilderness without food and minimal shelter. The first two days will be spent in preparatory rituals and teachings, followed by two days and two nights fasting in their solo sites. The final day will be spent mirroring the stories of each faster and beginning the incorporation processes as we prepare to return home.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Women seeking to be supported in
"One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting
their bad advice—
though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.
"Mend my life!"
each voice cried.
But you didn't stop.
You knew what you had to do..."

Your Guide and Ally
Hello dear ones, my name is Hannah. I have devoted my life path to the Earth and holding space for people like you to find belonging and true expression within their bodies and of the elements on this planet.
I was born and raised in Kentucky, also known as "meadow lands"; home to the Chickasaw, Cherokee and Shawnee tribes.
For the last 9 years I have called New Mexico home. I believe my soul was called here to die, be broken open and reborn, again and again. It is on these tribal lands and surrounding areas that I have studied and communed with mentors, spirit guides, the dreamtime, the wild elements and ancient ancestors to help support, inspire and embody the offerings which have been birthed from me. Through their guidance, deep listening, exploration of my inner and outer landscapes and my own participation in Fasting Ceremonies and Communion with Plant Medicines, I have the privilege to weave aspects from traditional ceremonies with other earth-based and embodiment practices which resonate to the way I walk in the world. I am honored to share these ways with you!
With Wild Love,
Hannah
